Effect of heating temperature on corrosion resistance of Zn-Ni alloy electroplated steel sheet

摘要
Zn-Ni alloy electroplated steel sheet has been widely used as a material for domestic appliances, automobile panels and construction because it provides the excellent corrosion resistance, wledability and appearance. It has been reported that the crystal structure and the residual stress of the electrodeposited Zn-Ni coatings were changed by heating. However, it has been pointed out that the change of the morphology and corrosion resistance of Zn-Ni coatings by heating were not clear. Therefore, the effect of heating temperature on the morphology and corrosion resistance of Zn-Ni electroplated steel sheet was investigated in a laboratory scale. As the increasing of heating temperature, it was observed to increase of crack of the Zn-Ni alloy coating, and its corrosion resistance was deteriorated by the salt spray test.
