摘要：
Laser beams of high intensities are routinely used for IFEL experiments. Such beams can potentially destroy microbunching diagnostic tools such as coherent transition radiation foils due to their low damage thresholds. Near-field Fresnel diffraction scheme for termination of CO(2) laser beam has been experimentally studied and is presented in this paper. Novel THz camera was utilized for such study.
