摘要
Under high-vacuum conditions, the electrical conductivity of ultrathin gold films (the film thickness d < 15 nm) deposited on glass surface or on glass surface predeposited with germanium underlayer is investigated. Some difficulties of contemporary size-effect theories of electron-transport phenomenon are reviewed. If do not taking into account the peculiarities of real metal-films' structure the unreliable comparison with experimental data were obtained.
