摘要
Doyle's theoretical model of classrooms (1979) portrays them as complex ecological environments where learners exchange their performance for grades. This paper describes what can happen when official guidelines are introduced which fail to take this fully into account by, for example, introducing new and conflicting requirements. It concludes that curriculum policy makers ignore the advice of researchers at their perii.
