摘要
In this paper, the potential functions method is analyzed, as (nonlinear) supervised pattern recognition method. In this context, the theoretical fundamentals of the potential functions are analyzed, the constructing modality is described and the physical nature of these functions is explained, The classification criterion based on the potential functions method is defined and the practical modality of using the potential functions, for supervised pattern recognition, is illustrated.
