摘要：
College English teaching is an important component of higher education. This paper analyses the present situation of College English teaching for minority students in Inner Mongolia University, and discusses teaching approaches in terms of the teaching philosophy, the teaching content, the teaching methods, and performance assessment. It is intended to explore feasible ways of improving college English teaching in ethnic regions.
