Research on Application of TBLT in Tourism English Teaching

At present, there are some problems in the teaching of Tourism English in higher vocational colleges. Under the guidance of the theory of task-based teaching approach, the paper divides the teaching materials into different learning work tasks according to the typical working situations, and illustrates the design of teaching process with detailed description. Base on the result of Tourism English teaching experiment actualized in two parallel classes, one can see that TBLT has made significant progress in improving students' learning interest, professional communicative competence and comprehensive ability.
