摘要
A thermodynamic model relating the anodic behavior of an alloy to its components' interaction is compared with experimental data on the anodic behavior of passive Fe-Cr alloys with different Cr content. For passive alloys containing 20 to 100 at. % of Cr, the theory well agree with the experiment, which allows to think of the alloy components' interaction in the mixed passive oxides as a factor determining the alloys' corrosion resistance in their passive state. In the alloys containing less than 20 at. % of Cr, the components' interaction is likely to manifest itself through their microstructural effect on the active centers on dissolving surface.
