摘要：
Symptom management is the assessment and treatment of the manifestations of multiple sclerosis (MS). Optimal treatment includes patient education, rehabilitation, counseling and sometimes medical or surgical therapy. A multi-disciplinary treatment team is usually required to provide the wide range of services necessary to manage MS symptoms. This article will review the medical and surgical options used in the management of primary MS symptoms. (C) 1999 Editions scientifiques et medicales Elsevier SAS.
