摘要
Task allocation is particularly important to product development projects and scholars have conducted plenty of researches on it. Nevertheless, their studies on considering the impact of the developer knowledge interest are still limited. Therefore, this paper advances a task allocation method for product development projects based on the knowledge interest. This approach is composed of two steps. The former selects available developers through the knowledge matching between the development subtask and the developer, and consequently obtains the initial developer set of each subtask. Then the latter determines the final developer of each subtask based on the knowledge interest degree of the developer in initial developer set. Eventually, the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method are illustrated in the product development project of the pneumatic nail gun in company A.
