摘要
In this paper, we discussed the influence of reactor diameters, catalyst constitution, and precursor flows on the yield and quality of the multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNTS). The reactor diameters will affect the production efficiency of MWNT and make the quality of MWNT uneven. It will enhance the yield and improve the quality of the MWNT if the precursors are evenly sent into reactors along the direction of axis of reactors. Catalysts play an important role in promoting the yield and controlling the diameters of MWNT. The effect of catalysts will vary with different carbon precursors. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
