摘要：
A simple life cycle cost model for online dissolved gas analyzers has been used to compare the total cost of ownership of three commercially available instruments. Factors in the model include the capital cost of the analyzer, life expectancy, maintenance, consumables, and repair costs. The work shows that neither the detector technology (gas chromatography or infra-red) nor capital cost are the most critical factors in achieving the lowest life cycle cost; life expectancy, reliability, and consumables are the most important factors.
