摘要
Authors presented and discussed foundations of experiential learning concept. History and roots of the concpet were presented with reference to the founding works of David Kolb, John Dewey, Kurt Lewin and Jean Piaget. Spectacular applications of the concept in some higher education institutions were presented. Authors explained the application of experiental learning concept to the program of production and engineering management master course at Warsaw University of Technology. Experiential learning course based on an assembly of a simple product was described. The course consists of 4 modules related to its 4 consecutive semesters. Modules distribution, general assumption, tasks and expected benefits of modules over the course duration were proposed. Authors focused on details of the last module, which is assembly line design and assessment. Structured set of tasks, its inputs and outputs were listed. The concept seems to be feasible in many other areas in terms of complexity and resources required.
