摘要
Modified double sideband modulation scheme is employed in the radio over fiber (RoF) system to eliminate the chromatic dispersion effect. Simulation experiment shows that the reused optical carrier has limited impact on the spectrum purity of generated high frequency millimeter-wave signal, and the scheme proposed performed well in RoF system uplink channel with wavelength reuse. The power penalties are negligible when the transmission distance is 20km for bidirectional links. Additionally, the demonstrated scheme is simple configurated and shows high quality.
