摘要：

Forest insurance in the Czech Republic is related to the difficulty of the valuation of a forest, which is demanded for insurance payments assessment. It is complicated and it differs in kinds of risks, which could be possible to insure. The aim of this research is to give an overview of forest insurance in the CR and discuss the related risks. An insurance market was analysed and the related literature is reported. Only a few insurance companies insure for an abiotic damage (e.g. wind, fire and snow). Their share on required insurance premium is small due to the fact, that it is not reported separately but includes crop insurance as well.
