摘要
ELMU-EMASZ network supplies electricity to 5 million customers in Hungary. The electrical network contains 2.4 million connection points represented by the power company in a GIS (Geographic Information System) based map. By cleaning and processing the data exported from the GIS map and using modern information technologies including Big data methods a new network model was created. The present paper presents the process by which this new database and network model was built. The significance of this model is based on the description and analysis of the essential characteristics of the power distribution networks. The new model describes the complete electrical network including high-voltage substations, transmission networks, medium and low voltage distribution networks and the connection points of the consumers.
