Let A be a noetherian local ring, I an ideal of A, and B = A/I. In this paper we deal with the relationship among the finiteness of the complete intersection dimension of the A-module B (introduced by L.L. Avramov, V.N. Gasharov, and I.V. Peeva), the polynomial growth of the ii-module B, and the vanishing of the Andre-Quillen homology functors H-n(A,B, -). (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
