摘要
The use of children's literature to support the teaching and learning of mathematics is increasing in classrooms around the world. While this intervention is enjoying increased emphasis, there is little research that investigates how children's understanding of mathematical concepts is impacted through their interaction with such texts. This pilot research study aims to provide information on how children's understanding of multiplication using arrays is affected through the use of a children's story book where those concepts arc central to the storyline.
