摘要
Recycling of fine oily rolling scale at an integrated steel mill is rather difficult due to the necessity of its preliminary dehydration as well as oil removal or neutralization by way of mixing the scales with lime. Recycling of fine oily scales results in emissions of dioxins and furans formed during the process. An alternative method of environment-friendly recycling of fine oily rolling scales consists in processing the scales and waste oils into a composite liquid fuel to be injected into blast furnace tuyeres. Computer simulation of blast furnace melt has proved the efficiency of the discussed recycling technology. Possibility to feed composite liquid fuel via injection system pipeline, to spray it through nozzles and to burn it in the tuyere zone of a blast furnace was confirmed by tests at a hot stand and by injection through BF tuyeres.
