The monograph is dedicated to a complex research of the procedural status of the suspect in Russian criminal court proceedings. The book analyzes the concept of suspicion, its correlation with accusation, the procedural status of the suspect in Russian criminal court proceedings, the grounds for recognizing somebody as a suspect and a number of other problems relevant for both the science of criminal procedure and the practice of law enforcement.
