摘要：

A model class of weighted shift operators Bin L(p) generated by a mappings having saddle points is considered. A description of properties of B - lambda I for lambda belonging to the spectrum Sigma(B) is given. In particular, a necessary and sufficient condition for B - lambda I to be one-sided invertible is obtained.
