摘要
In order to research the differences of journal impact factors among different disciplines, a simple agent-based simulation model is stablished in the article. Our model uses a novel method, namely a distributed method, which can effectively simulate the publication and citation activities of the articles in the journals of a discipline. According to simulation experiments and actual collected data, the tendency of impact factors is affected by some fundamental elements that are average review period and average quantity of references. Furthermore, we can observe a satisfactory approximation between certain real data and simulation consequences.
