摘要：
Multipath time delay estimation based on adaptive parametric approach using fourth-order cumulants is proposed in this paper. Multipath time delays are estimated correctly with this new approach, and spatially correlated colored Gaussian noises can be suppressed effectively. The simulation examples are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of this novel approach. Some comparisons were done between this new approach and the traditional adaptive time delay approach based correlation. The multipath time delay approach based adaptive parametric approach can be used to location targets in sonar and radar system and the mobile communication networks.
