Ileal bladder replacement

In 1986, Hautmann and at. described the fleal. neobladder as one of the first orthotopic bladder replacement which approached in configuration and function most closely the original organ. The association of the principles of a detubularized small bowel reservoir (Kock) and the anastomosis on the urethral stump with his sphincter give full functional satisfaction.
