摘要
The Universidad Nacional Abierta (UNA) of Venezuela country is a Distance Education System (DES) where their action area is limited to the national territory with 21 local centers and a central headquarters in the capital. Currently the UNA has an approximate enrollment of thirty-five thousand students. Nowadays, the process of the student testing is based on the writing test/exam mail delivery to the local centers, through the country, where the student has to attend and take it This process by their handle nature involves some problems. To solve part of these problems is proposed a new information system to automate this process so that it is based on new information and communications technologies. The main results are a Classes and Actor-System Interaction model. To achieve it was used the action-research methodological strategy and system analysis and design methods resting on the Object Oriented (00) approach. Additionally, the model representations were developed using 00 CASE tools. The class model can sustain the new technological process that will permit scale economies and current procedure flexibilization. There are data design considerations that will better result on the Distance students needs, in a way such, that permits process optimization, a good use of the human and material resources as well as, a good administrative & academic performance.
