摘要
In this study, we used a simple strategy of directly calcinating chitosan to prepare nitrogen-doped carbon catalysts for acetylene hydrochlorination. The total content of nitrogen in Chi800 catalyst is 5.88 %, including pyridinic nitrogen, pyrrolic nitrogen, and graphitic nitrogen. The acetylene conversion of Chi800 at 220 degrees C can reach 91 % due to the existence of the pyridinic nitrogen and pyrrolic nitrogen active sites. In order to improve the stability of catalysts prepared from chitosan, ZnCl2 is used to expand pores of chitosan to prepare Chi800-E. The specific surface area of the catalyst Chi800-E with expanded pores can reach 1299.08 m(2) g(-1). The Chi800-E shows the acetylene conversion of 94 % and good stability up to 60 hours in a test at 220 degrees C.
