摘要：
The wave field of shear surface waves propagating in a weakly inhomogeneous elastic halfspace was obtained by the method of slowly varying amplitudes. Conditions allowing the propagation of these waves were determined. It was shown that specification of the inhomogeneity permits control over the propagation of waves of any wavelengths. Certain specific inhomogeneities were studied graphically and numerically.
