摘要：
Home Network has been a dream for 15 years and now it becomes reality. The growth of the access bandwidth requirements (e.g. for Internet), the digitalisation of the broadcast services, the apparition of standards like MPEG are again pushing the Home Network concept forward with a different approach from the past: less focusing on Home Automation and more favouring the Access Sharing. This paper describes the technologies and explains their importance for telecommunication. it shows the motivation for an easy to implement and cheap solution. It explains also the future of the various technologies and the network termination problem.
