The third-order optical susceptibilities of polydiacetylenes

摘要
Adopting the equation of motion method, the nonlinear optical susceptibility of one-dimentional conjugated polymer is calculated exactly. And the analytic expressions for all the oreders of the optical susceptibilities are obtained simultaneously, including the analytical expression of Based on the Su-Schrieffer-Heeger model. The theoretical results are in agreement with experiment. We also propose a mechanism of the third-harmonic generation of polydiacetylenes, which explains the experimental phenomenon quite well.
