摘要
Coal is a complex cross macromolecule with various polyaromatic structural units. It can be used as filler of polyalkene. The interface adhesion is an important factor that affects the properties of coal filled polymer composites. The surface of coal was modified under Friedel-Crafts alkylation condition. It promoted the interface adhesion between coal and polyalkene. The morphological structure was observed through SEM. The mechanical properties of composites filled by alkylated coal are better than those filled by original coal. The escape of volatile matter in coal will accelerate the destroying of material when the composites are under stress.
