摘要
Artificial intelligence (AI) has existed for decades and continues to evolve as technology advances. In health care, AI can be used to simplify the check-in process for patients, make patient records more efficient, monitor disease, aid diagnosis, assist in surgical procedures, and offer mental health therapy. In radiology, AI assists in multiple processes including scheduling patients, billing, optimizing staffing, creating protocols, assessing image quality, reducing radiation dose, and image interpretation. AI is not something to be feared, as it will not replace humans; rather, it should be embraced for its ability to improve and prolong lives.
