Simulation of flame stabilization in a turbulent flow

摘要
A computation technique is suggested for modeling turbulent reacting flows in combustion chambers. The method is based on a new statistical combustion model that uses detailed mechanisms of hydrocarbon fuel oxidation and new non-reflecting boundary conditions at open boundaries. The method is tested by solving a problem of name stabilization in a high-speed flow of a premixed combustible gases. The calculation results fit both qualitatively and quantitatively experimental data.
