Quantization of the soliton with a rho meson in the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model

摘要
We study the vector meson excitation spectra in the collective quantization of the soliton in the NJL model with rho meson. The equations for the excitations are integral equations rather than the usual second-order differential equations. We solve these integral equations by discretizing the radial coordinates. Also, we compare the resulting spectra with those obtained from the gradient expansion of the Dirac determinant. We investigate the effect of the excitations on the moment of inertia.
