Economic Governance in USA and its Changes during Current Economic and Financial Crisis

In its first part the article defines the governance phenomenon: especially its economic characteristics. The second part presents how the economic governance is applied to the U.S. economy conditions. It covers the governance development in the USA with the stress on fiscal and monetary area until 2007, and presents the governance shifts resulted from the economic situation changes. The article third part deals with the U.S. economic governance during 2008-2012 period. The new governance shape reflects the enhanced activity of economic policy to ensure the restoration of the U.S. economy after the crisis. Nevertheless, despite the state activity increase, the return to the traditional U.S. governance with market dominance and rather a minimal state may be expected.
