摘要
This study aimed to investigate stakeholders' beliefs regarding Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in pharmaceutical policy in Greece. A qualitative research using semi-structured interviews was performed. Interviewees were selected using purposive sampling amongst pharmaceutical market various stakeholders. According to stakeholders, there is an urgent need for more extensive use of HTA. The establishment of an HTA organization is a demand of wide consensus amongst participants. Alpha change in the current culture towards greater transparency was seen as a prerequisite for the successful establishment of Eta tau Alpha. Stakeholders agreed that the introduction of HTA should be part of a wider pharmaceuticals' reimbursement system reform.
