摘要
This paper analyzes the evolution of the legislative competences between the Federation and the States of Mexico in criminal matters, which initially were based on a pure or dual federalism, where each one freely decided on the aspects of his incumbency, but that over time it has been weakening by giving more legislative powers to the Congress of the Union, to the detriment of those of the local authorities, for which the author analyzes the viability of this new model in the context of federalism in Mexico.
