摘要
The emphasis of the paper is on the issues of critical speed and gas film stiffness of gas lubricated bearing rotor system. By theoretical analysis, the incompressible gas film stiffness formula was presented in the paper. According to a series of experiment, the relationship between the critical speeds of a gas lubricated bearing rotor system and the gas supply pressure of bearing are presented. The experiment shows that the higher gas supply pressure, the bigger critical speed. According to a series of experiment, the critical speeds of a gas lubricated bearing rotor system are related to the gas supply pressure of bearing. Changing of gas supply pressure could be a method of adjustment of the critical speed for rotor system with gas lubricated bearing.
