SCIENCE AS A SOCIO-CITIZEN THEME IN THE INITIAL TRAINING OF TEACHERS OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES

摘要
This article proposes a discussion about Science and its epistemological aspects, in the context of the initial formation of teachers of Biological Sciences, from the realization of a formative process. THE methodological approach used was of a qualitative nature, characterized by action research. In Addition to the formative process, the analysis of the Pedagogical Project of Course and interviews was also carried out. Among the results obtained, it is noteworthy that this theme is contemed in the menu and in the bibliography of this document, ensuring that it should be worked during the course, but the answers and the discourse of the Licensees show the opposite. In This sense, the initial formation of science teachers is considered as an ideal space for discussion and learning about science and its epistemological aspects, in the perspective that these future teachers propagate this learning to their Students.
