Bi2S3/BiOBr hybrid structure prepared via anion exchange for enhanced photocatalytic nitrogen fixation performance

摘要
In this work, Bi2S3/BiOBr hybrid structure has been prepared via ion exchange method. The hybrid structure has enhanced light harvesting ability and improved transfer efficiency of photogenerated carriers thanks to the narrow bandgap of Bi2S3 and staggered band structure of Bi2S3/BiOBr hybrid structure. As a result, Bi2S3/BiOBr hybrid structure exhibits improved photocatalytic N-2 fixation performance compared with BiOBr and excellent stability after 4 cycles of photocatalytic nitrogen fixation under visible light irradiation.
