SH-waves Reflection and Transmission by a Periodic Array of Piezoelectric Inclusions in an Elastic Medium

摘要
A method for analysis of SH-waves scattering by a periodic array of thin piezoelectric inclusions in an infinite elastic solid is presented. We assume that inclusions have the same material properties and shape. Ideal mechanical contact and electric insulation are imposed on the boundary of each inhomogeneity. The method is based on Fourier transformation method and singular perturbations modeling of interaction between host material and fillers. Influence of geometric characteristics of the array and electromechanical coupling on frequency dependencies of reflection and transmission coefficients is analyzed.
