摘要：
This paper presents a structured approach to product development applied successfully in the maritime, aeronautical and land vehicle industry in South Africa. The proposed methodology to develop quality products is generic. This paper identifies the major aspects that contribute to success at the strategic, operational and project levels of the product development enterprise.
