Difficult situations in the treatment of patients with gambling disorder and comorbid narcissistic personality disorder A case report

Gambling disorder is a serious and often chronic disease. Comorbid personality disorders should be considered in the treatment. When a comorbid narcissistic personality disorder is present, the treatment of gambling disorder is often difficult and challenging for therapists. This article reports on the case of a patient and difficult situations during the treatment and possible approaches to deal with them are discussed.
