Modelling of dynamic failure of concrete using a viscoelastic viscoplastic damage continuum model

摘要：
We present a model for the analysis of dynamic failure of concrete. Rate effects due to moisture are accounted for by using a viscoelastic viscoplastic damage model. Our model can reproduce the Stefan effect, which is related to the strength increase for intermediate loading rates. Numerical examples in statics and dynamics illustrate the influence of the model parameters and the potential of our model.
