摘要
Butylene diamine copper tetrachloride was prepared in a form of crystal form from aqueous solution. X-ray of single crystal and magnetic properties studies were carried out, The structure of the neutral complex [NH3(CH2)(4)H3N]CuCl4 contains cationic [NH3(CH2)(4)H3N](2+) and anionic (CuCl4)(2-). Results of X-ray revealed that the Cu atoms are 4-fold coordinated by chlorine atoms to form distorted square planer. The organic group is bonded with CuCl4 hydrogen bonds and Van der Waal contact. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility was measured in the temperature range from 70 to 500K at different magnetic field intensities. The results indicate that the complexes exhibit weak antiferromagnetic coupling between two metal ions
