摘要
This century, the organizations have pursued to comprehend the varieties that exert influence in the relation organization-job-individual. Due to the several possibilities, the social capital stands out because of its influence over aspects related to the professional performance, transformational leadership, productivity, inovation and learning. The scale was developed by Nahapiet and Ghoshal (1998) about 20 years ago, aiming to measure the confidence, interaction and sharing between pairs regarding social relationships built in the corporative environment. Thus, due to social, economic and political transformations, identifying the instrument efficiency, considering the customs, beliefs and values of the workers in the conteporaneity, becomes necessary towards the brazilian context. This paper aims to verify the psychometric factorial structure of the social capital scale quality in brazilian workers. Two samples composed the study, one of them with 200 brazilian workers and another one with 201, from public and private organizations. Empirical evidence has been observed concerning the application quality and measurement of the construct for the referred brazilian context in the work environment; these, besides being trustworthy, revealed more robust indicators from the modeling analysis of structural equation, differentiating two statistical indicators in a sample with workers from Portugal in which have been suggested the construct uniformity, a perspective not sustained in this study.
