摘要
The studies about the productivity and innovation quality in the individual-organization relation have been receiving attention through several scientific perspectives (sociological, psychological, educational, etc.). But, in the last ten years, the themes concerning psychological measurement in the work environment have been a very productive area, for it has the aim to measure specific phenomenons and their impact on the individual range as well on the collective one in the work environment. Within the many providences taken in the work area as well as in the institution one, the scale of organizational support is one of the most promising, because it evaluates how much the company, through the employee's perception, recognizes and values their professional performance. This research aims to verify the psychometric quality of the organizational support perceptiom scale's factorial structure in workers. For this study accomplishment, two samples were collected: the first one, with 200 Brazilian workers, men and women, aged above 18, from the public and private departments of work, destined to exploratory analysis; the second one, 201 workers, holding the same socio-demographical characteristics than the first sample, to which was destined the confirmatory analysis. All of them responded through e-mail or social network, to the Organizational Support Perception Scale and to questions related to the socio-demographical and professional information. The results of both analysis, exploratory and confirmatory ones, from the Organizational Support Perception Scale measurement revealed a reduced factorial organization, containing five instead of nine items, as has been being used, these, contemplated items which focused the more positive issues (holding a social and human basis) of the organizational behavior.
