摘要：
This paper aims to give comprehensive review on the state of current researches and provide some reference for future research. For this purpose, the paper firstly analyses the evolution of real option theory and method, following with the characteristics of renewable energy investment. Then, the usability of real option to renewable energy investment is discussed, and the diverse applications of real option on renewable energy investment and policy evaluation are conducted. The directions for future researches are also presented in the end. (C) 2019 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
