摘要：
The aim of this paper is to evaluate the development of the debt service of the municipalities in Slovakia. Parameters which are evaluated in the article are parts of the methodology of authors Vomocil - Hajek - Olej, 2007 [3] who suggested these parameters for the evaluation of the financial credibility of the municipalities in the Czech Republic. These indicators will be evaluated in conditions of the Slovakia in time period 2005-2013. For the analysis of selected indicators we used modelling via trend lines and we also analysed the relationship between total revenue of the municipalities and capital expenditure of the municipalities through the Pearson coefficient.
