摘要：
Simulation and transient testing of numerical relays were discussed. System simulation was carried out using electromagnetic transients program simulations, and was complemented by filtering for location and determination of fault parameters. Relay simulation included filtering algorithms, all the relaying units and the decision logic. Effectiveness of the hybrid and practical solution for relay evaluation was shown from the studies performed over the same line and relay.
