Continuing professional development: your career in your own hands

While entry requirements have been in place from the beginning, the need for continuing professional development (CFD) has been set out much more. The Engineering Council makes the position quite clear, CPD is expected of all registrants. The requirements laid on CEng and IEng registrants are the same. The requirements on EngTech registrants recognize their different position, but call for an appropriate commitment. Some of the issues on CPD that needs to be re-iterated are presented.
